Alexander Mattelaer presents views on Brexit to Belgian Federal Parliament

On 31 January assistant professor Alexander Mattelaer presented his views on Brexit to the Foreign Relations Committee of the Belgian Federal Parliament. Speaking after former European Council president Herman Van Rompuy, Alexander argued that Brexit presented a major foreign policy challenge to Belgium and its constitutive regions. At the same time, he argued the Brexit negotiation process could provide an impetus to redefine the European political architecture. Read Alexander's testimony here.
