On 13 March, students enrolled in the BA in International Affairs programme at BSoG had the unique opportunity to visit NATO under the guidance of Professor Demir Murat Seyrek. This visit was an integral component of the Capstone course in International Affairs, which is conducted in collaboration with the US Mission to NATO.
During their visit, our students had the privilege of having a brief interaction with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. Additionally, they engaged in discussions with key figures such as Laura Djuragic and Cassandra O’Connor from the U.S. Mission to NATO, as well as Robin El Kady and Beaudine Verhoek from NATO's Public Diplomacy Division. The focal point of these meetings centered around the theme of disinformation campaigns and NATO's strategies for countering them.
