Important update about our LLM programme

LLM students

We are excited to share an update about our LLM in International and European Law programme. New details about the courses for the 2024-2025 academic year have now become available. You can find this information in the Curriculum section of the LLM programme on our website. This update includes comprehensive descriptions of course content, learning outcomes, the number of ECTS credits, the semester each course is offered, and details about the teaching staff.

In the autumn of 2023, the Brussels School of Governance has  decided to transform this LLM programme from a daytime to an evening format, effective from September 2024. Classes will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm. We can now also confirm the number of classes per week: as of next academic year onwards, students will, on average, attend classes on two evenings per week. Specifically, in the first semester, classes will occur 2-3 times per week, and in the second semester, 1-2 times per week, allowing more time for thesis writing.

As a reminder, our application deadline for this LLM is 31 March for non-EEA students and 31 August for EEA students. Students with a previous Belgian higher education diploma can, regardless of their nationality (EEA or non-EEA), apply until 30 September. The programme will start on Monday 23 September 2024.
