Ewout Ramon is the Research Assistant to the Director at the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS), a Bruges based institute officially part of the UN system, co-hosted by the IES and Ghent University. Apart from supporting the director, he acts as liaison officer between UNU-CRIS and UNU HQ in Tokyo regarding communications and project management. He currently also collaborates with IES Senior Researcher Luk Van Langenhove. In the past, Ewout worked on several UNU-CRIS projects as a Project Researcher.
Ewout holds a Bachelor degree in International Politics from Ghent University and a Master degree in European Studies: Transnational and Global Perspectives from the University of Leuven. As an exchange student he spent one year on IR at the Istanbul Bilgi University.
