On the 12th of July 2023, a public lecture titled 'Minority Rights and Cultural Rights: Thoughts for the Future' took place, hosted by Professor Kristin Henrard, Programme Director of the BA in International and European Law programme at the Brussels School of Governance. The esteemed guest speaker for this event was Professor Alexandra Xanthaki, the UN Special Rapporteur in the field of Cultural Rights, as well as Professor of Law at Brunel University. The occasion held significant importance as it marked the commencement of celebrations for the 30-year anniversary of the International Journal on Minority and Group Rights (IJMGR).
