"Being a part of the BA in International and European law at the Brussels School of Governance has been a truly enriching academic journey for me. What stood out for me in the program from the beginning is the close proximity to professors enabled by the small classroom sizes, as well as the strong emphasis on development of individual skills such as academic writing and public speaking. Since most of the professors come from a professional background in EU institutions or similar, this classroom experience allowed to not only learn from their knowledge but also their practical experience, which helped a lot to gain practical insights into the professional landscape of EU and international law. Building on this, it was very helpful to be able to elaborate an individual portfolio of projects, writings and presentations on various topics related to International and European law, rather than to be tied to a one-way learning communication. This has helped me to gain a better insights into what the areas that I would like to further develop into professionally are, and to already build specific skills and expertise in these fields.
